Really Random Stuff

Ten Things Tuesday

Really Random Stuff That Has Nothing To Do With My Mental Health (thank god)
ok, it does, but read it anyways

1. Today is the last day for free shipping from Land's End!!! (I hope this is the last day they send me that e-mail).

2. I'm sleeping on the pull-out couch for a few nights because I kicked my husband so bad while I was sleeping Sunday night I turned his mildly bad back into a OMG-I-can't-even-put-my-socks-on-bad-back. I slept so well by myself I'm thinking of getting my own room. Come on, you all know you want your own room.

3. Coming up with ten random things is harder than you think.

4. I would like a Chick-fill-a egg and cheese biscuit for breakfast, and a Starbucks latte.

5. I heart every one of your comments from my previous post. It helped so much, to know you understand, to get your advice, as varied as it was, to know people cared enough to wade through my crap and still say something.

6. I'm taking the boys to the Atlanta Aquarium AND zoo on Friday. I can't wait (which proves I am not stable).

7. My favorite time of day to be outside in December is about 4:00 o'clock. The light is perfect and everything is kind of quiet and peaceful. It gives me hope.

8. Coming up with ten random things is REALLY REALLY a lot harder than you think.

9. I need a cookie.

10. I heart Sheldon on The Big Bang Theory --

Kids, Mama has to run an errand...

Still thinking of you, Em

Oh, wow...My day just started with a laugh! That hardly ever happens. Seriously, that hardly EVER happens. I could cry!

:-)

Sheldon is awesome. And, yes, I want my own room..

I took advantage of LE's free shipping and yes, enough with the emails, already! And yes, the late afternoon light this time of year is peaceful. I'll think of you the next time I appreciate it.

I was just catching up on your posts. I disagree with the previous one. I think people can change right down to the core. I guess that's what makes the internet so great - we can express our differences without the worry of getting punched in the throat. (Ha!)

As for this post, OH MAN, I spent so much time over the past few days clicking "unsubscribe" from so many unwanted emails. I hate it that if you shop online, so many companies add you to "their lists" without asking. It's annoying!

I hope you have a fantastic day.

Sheldon has no filter, which makes me wish I could be him for as long as it takes to tell off a few select individuals...and then quickly morph back into myself. I like you just the way you are.

Hi!

#5 - You're SO welcome.

#6 - That's a lot to do but I'm sure it will be fun with the kids.

#7 - Me too. Especially when the sky is filled with such amazing colors that a picture could never do it justice.

and #9 - Me too. In fact, I snuck a few today.

:)

Oh. I *heart* all things Chick-Fil-A. And you're totally right about 4 p.m. in December. If there is beauty even in the cold months, we're going to be fine.

The aquarium and the zoo? I'd rather jab my eyes out.

(Have a great New Year!)

Happy New Year girl!

Own room--absolutely! And I got it. But you have to do something like the Victorians (and polygamists) do and have visitation rights and rules.

I agree about 4 p.m. light, and it's not really unstable to want to go to the aquarium with your kids. Maybe it you wanted to all the time. For me it would be such a change-of-pace that I would look forward to it as well.
